We are offering Aqua Trails Kayak Clinics. Perfect your kayaking skills! Lecture portion of program will cover topics including equipment review, safety, paddling techniques, wet exits and re-entry (we will demonstrate, but not be teaching, the Eskimo Roll). Following the lecture, learn the best sites to launch your kayak for a self-guided paddle on Cape Island Creek and local tidal salt marsh creeks. Bring your own kayak, PFD and paddle (or rent equipment from Aqua Trails), and sunscreen, and dress appropriately for getting wet. The lecture portion of this program is also appropriate for people who do not own a kayak, but would like to learn more. Class size is limited; pre-registration is highly recommended.
